If you are resident or just visiting you are welcome at any and all of our services in the benefice.
See the dates of what's on where under Service Times, check out the Church News bimonthly newsletter, online and in print. See also a table below of our regular pattern of services (some variation occours for major and local festivals).
You can also look at the Weekly Bulletin for this coming Sunday's services, notices and prayers. You can even subscribe to receieve that via email using the form on the homepage.
Children are welcome at all our churches. Hormead has a church room with toilet and baby changing facilities. We encourage children to take part in the services.
We know busy families often find it difficult to attend church on Sunday so we have just started putting on a Messy Church on Saturdays, once a month. See our monthly newsletter for details.

MID-WEEK
HOLY COMMUNION (Currently Suspended)
Brent Pelham Church, Wednesdays*, 9.30am
An informal service where all are welcome. We hear a reading or two, say a psalm, listen to a short talk and stand around the altar for an intimate holy communion.
Coffee and a chat are usually available afterwards.
*There is no service on the Wednesday after Christmas or the Wednesday of Holy Week (before Good Friday).
MONTHLY COMPLINE
If you are looking for a service of quiet reflection and prayer, why not explore the traditional service of Compline (or Night Prayer). Apart from during Lent and at Christmas, It is usually held twice a month:
On the second Wednesday of the month at 8pm. We use the Prayer book Compline with a reflection and silent prayer. It takes place in the beautiful, Grade I listed, St Gile's Church in Wyddial.
On the last Wednesday of the month at 8.30pm, using a Night Prayer format, and is held in Meesden Village Hall.
MORNING and EVENING PRAYER:
Participate with thousands of other Christians by logging on to the Church of England website or downloading the excellent 'Daily Prayer' app on your mobile or tablet.
