Safeguarding

Across our benefice we strive to ensure that Church is a safe and welcoming environment for all, and take our care of the vulnerable very seriously. We have a dedicated experienced safeguarding team and we pray we offer the appropriate pastoral support for everyone in the care of the benefice.

We have adopted the policies recommended by the Church of England (below) and undertaken appropriate training as testament to this care and follow current guidelines and protocols advised to us by the Diocese of St Albans. Further local details are provided in every church. Doicese policies and documents can be found here.

We hope that every person visiting any of our churches finds it accesible and feels safe. And when joinung us for worship you experience a warm welcome, hospitality, kindness, the love of God and a sense of peace. We aspire to achieve this based on our Christian beliefs in the care of our neighbours as ourselves.
